• It started off as a mother who leaves an abusive husband.So we thought.Poor mummy,frustrated trying to get everyone to believe her,protect her child,listen to her. But it's just a run around.

• I thought after finishing the book that you gave it the absolute wrong title. Although after reading this story , it did thrown me off what was really happening to Tom. The school was the pits as was the head of the school. Now you shown us how abusive and off balanced one parent can be while convincing all that they are the victim. It was an interesting read. So, not a bad review nor a great one! You did a great job writing this story and for what it's worth, I never realized the full story until nearly the end, just the way you planned it.
• This author knocked this book out of the park. A dramatic story of mother's love so strong she will do anything to keep her child. She can run, but can she hide. A fierce mom fights the school, the system and herself to keep her child safe. Yet her fears threaten to overwhelm her. This book keeps you riveted, a must read.
• GAHHHH. I am so annoyed after finishing this book. At the beginning, I was suspecting the plot twist and lo and behold, I was right. So disappointed in this book.
  1 star because I flew through it in 2 days, but not because it was just so good. Sure, to a novice thriller reader - this may hit the spot. Otherwise..this book reminded me of a recent disappointing thriller I read because of the same.plot.twist. (Stranger on the Beach..pass on that one)

  I don't understand, for the life of me, why authors write different POV's..and have you believing one POV is innocent until the end. So everything in Lizzie's POV was a lie until the end..WHY. What a freaking waste of time to read this. I didn't even care about the last 10% once the "twist" *eyeroll* was revealed. Sorry but this didn't do it for me. I just can't understand why waste the entire book on a fictional perspective..MAKES NO SENSE.
• Great read, and couldn't put it down. Had to wrestle with emotions, challenge assumptions. It is a fascinating look at multi generations of a family.
• This was such a great book...from start to finish! I love a book that can keep my interest...and this was one of those for sure. You can tell the author put a lot into this book. Such an amazing read. The ending is jaw dropping to say the least. I love that! Five stars. Very very well done!
• Loved the story. Caught me off guard. Twists and turns that pull you in, where you don't want to put the book down. I applaud the author for writing such an entertaining and great read!
